It provides AI assistants trained on an organization's own documents, such as strategies, bylaws, community profiles and past reports, and every answer cites its source. KnowledgeFlow has more than 50 deployments across UK municipalities, colleges and government authorities.
Is our data kept in Canada?
Yes. KnowledgeFlow deploys to Canadian Microsoft Azure regions inside your organization's own Azure environment, not on Leading AI's or Qatalyst's servers. Your data stays under your control and is never used to train public AI models. How can AI help a small economic development office?
AI can take on the drafting, research and reporting work that fills the time of an office with one or two staff. How long does it take to deploy AI in an economic development office?
The initial KnowledgeFlow platform can be configured and deployed within 30 days of the strategy phase. Qatalyst's process has five phases: a situational assessment of goals and AI readiness, strategy development with an 18-month roadmap, technology deployment, implementation support with staff training, and ongoing customer success. New assistants can be added as priorities change.
Does the AI make things up?
Any AI system can make mistakes, so KnowledgeFlow is designed to make its answers checkable. It answers from your organization's own verified documents, and every response cites its source. That means AI-generated content can be audited and defended to council, auditors and the public, and staff can confirm each point against the original document before using it.
Do we need technical staff to use KnowledgeFlow?
No. KnowledgeFlow does not require technical expertise, prompt engineering or IT support staff.
